Overlooking the west of Clare

Situated in an elevated location on the coast in scenic West Clare. Cliffview Cottage enables fabulous views of Baltard cliffs as well as the cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. The view in the opposite direction shows the west clare landscape down to the Shannon Estuary. 'Blue Flag' beach White Strand is a 5 Minutes drive away, shops and pubs are in Doonbeg, Kilkee and Kilrush. This evocative landscape is ideal for a a host of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, swimming and bird watching. Golfers will find 2 links courses just 10 Minutes from the holiday cottage; Doonbeg's golf links to the north and Kilkee golf links to the south.

Doonbeg is not only well known for its excellent golfing but also for the many other activities which are on offer here - from angling and canoeing to surfing, swimming, walking and wildlife observation. This page will give you more information on the activities in the area.

Kilkee is a popular seaside resort with fantastic cliff scenery and also the gateway to the remote, rugged Loop Head Peninsula.

The market town of Kilrush is just a 20 mins. drive away and has a modern marina with boat tours to historic Scattery Island and dolphin watching tours. You'll also find major super markets (Aldi, tesco) and traditional pubs as well as various restaurants in Kilrush.
