'Blue Flag' beach White Strand is a 5 Minutes drive away, shops and pubs are in Doonbeg, Kilkee and Kilrush. This evocative landscape is ideal for a a host of outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, swimming and bird watching. Golfers will find 2 links courses just 10 Minutes from the holiday cottage; Doonbeg's golf links to the north and Kilkee golf links to the south.

Kilkee is a popular seaside resort with fantastic cliff scenery and also the gateway to the remote, rugged Loop Head Peninsula.

The market town of Kilrush is just a 20 mins. drive away and has a modern marina with boat tours to historic Scattery Island and dolphin watching tours. You'll also find major super markets (Aldi, tesco) and traditional pubs as well as various restaurants in Kilrush.
